Cookie policy

1. Scope of this policy

This policy describes the cookies and other browser-side storage mechanisms actually used in Good Prompt School.

At the moment we do not use external marketing analytics or advertising cookies.

2. Technologies used right now

The service uses only technologies needed for account operation, security, payments, and features explicitly triggered by the user.

  • Supabase session and authentication cookies needed for login, session continuity, and account security;
  • the NEXT_LOCALE cookie that remembers the selected site language;
  • localStorage and sessionStorage used for user-requested features such as quiz progress, reading preferences, recent searches, lesson table-of-contents state, scroll restoration after language changes, and sign-out synchronization across tabs;
  • Stripe technologies used after redirecting to hosted Stripe Checkout for payment handling and fraud prevention;
  • Cloudflare Turnstile on login, signup, and password-reset forms.

3. Why we use them

These technologies are used to operate the account, keep the service secure, complete payments, and remember settings or progress that result from your own actions.

If you block cookies or clear browser storage, login, checkout, or some platform features may stop working properly.

4. Managing your settings

You can manage cookies and browser storage in your browser settings and remove stored local data at any time.

Because the current setup includes only essential technologies or technologies tied to features explicitly requested by the user, we do not display a separate analytics or marketing consent banner. If we introduce such tools, we will update this policy and the consent mechanism.

5. Third-party providers

When you use Stripe payments or Turnstile-protected forms, those providers may apply their own technologies according to their own policies.

Current providers are also listed in the Privacy Policy.
